Talented teens provided inspiration for a vegan café in Hitchin by cooking up a treat to be included on a future menu.
GCSE catering students at North Herts Education Support Centre on Bancroft were visited by Lucy Fisher, owner of award-winning Chia Cafe in Churchyard. Lucy gave a talk to the pupils who’ve learnt about vegan diets. She said: “They were so inquisitive, knowledgeable, talented and sweet-natured. They cooked many dishes for my son Archie and me to try. We loved them all.” The cafe is set to feature the dishes later this year.
