A chef is back in Baldock after showcasing his talents in India at the Taste of Britain Curry Festival. Abbas Ahmed – who is executive chef at the Chilli Lounge Restaurant – was a member of the ‘super curry chef team’ presenting the best of British cuisine to New Dehli locals.

The delegation was led by chef Dominic Chapman, who has worked in a host of Michelin-starred restaurants.

Abbas said: “I have cooked in various competitions, but cooking British curry in New Delhi was a real challenge. We gave our diners the best of British high street favourites curry dishes such as Chicken tikka masala, jalfrezi and balti Dishes.”
