WITCHES and ghosts helped raise money for children and babies in hospitals run by the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.

The Trust, which runs the Lister, QEII and Hertford County hospitals, has joined together with Woolworths to raise money for the Trust's Building Blocks campaign - a campaign aimed at enhancing services for children and babies under the Trust's care.

Fundraisers haunted Hitchin station in fancy dress and raised around £30 for the worthwhile cause.

Donations can still be made at the Hitchin branch of Woolworths.
