A CHARITY quiz night and supper has raised about �1500 for SANDS - the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society.
A total of 23 teams took part in the event at Knights Templar School in Baldock to support the charity adopted for the year by the chairman of North Herts District Council, Cllr Michael Weeks.
Cllr Weeks spent two days preparing a curry supper for 150 people. “It was a great success,” he said. “Everyone had a good time and we raised some much-needed money for SANDS, which does very valuable work.”
