METALLICA fans are being given the chance to meet the heavy metal legends at the Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth Park this summer.
Two competition winners will meet the band, and others will have the opportunity to play Guitar Hero live on the main stage and rock to the band's hits.
As well as Metallica, the line-up for the festival on August 1 and 2 includes Thin Lizzy, Linkin Park, Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains, Anthrax and Bullet for my Valentine.
Tickets for the two-day event start from �132.50, but for an additional �11.50 tickets can be secured with a �40 deposit until the end of April or until the ticket allocation is fully subscribed.
The full balance must then be paid by June 30, or the ticket will be released for general sale and the deposit forfeited. The deposit scheme does not apply to VIP packages.
