A NUMBER of CCTV images have been released by police, who wish to speak to two people in connection with a Hitchin assault.
Police want to speak to the man and the woman who appear in the images in connection with the assault, which happened in September.
A 20-year-old man was assaulted by another man outside The Ivory on Brand Street around 3.30am on September 18.
He sustained a broken jaw as a result.
Dc Ben Dixon is investigating. He said: “I would like to speak to this man and woman in connection with this incident as they may have witnessed the crime or can offer assistance to the investigation.
“I also believe there were around 100 people in the local area when the assault took place and I would like to speak to anyone who may remember the incident.”
Anyone who recognises these people, or has any information about the incident, is asked to call Herts Police on 101, quoting crime reference number G1/11/3123 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
