CCTV images of man have been released by police after money was stolen from a charity shop’s till last month.

Herts Police have released the image of a man who may be able to help them with their enquiries following a theft at the Salvation Army Shop, in Letchworth GC, on January 15.

The incident took place at approximately 2.30pm when a man entered the store, distracted the shop assistant and removed money from the till.

Investigating officer, DC Simon Goodship said: “We are very keen to speak to the man pictured as we believe he could provide us with information which could prove crucial to our investigation. If you believe you are the man pictured or if anyone feels they recognise him, please get in contact.”
