CCTV images have been released after a man had his cycle stolen from a railway station.
British Transport Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft, which took place in the early hours of Sunday, January 13 at Arlesey railway station.
Pc Abbey Dunne said: “The victim, a 35-year-old man from Henlow, locked his bike to the station racks with a chain on Friday, January 11.
“When he returned to collect his bike at midday on Sunday, January 13, he found his lock had been cut and his bike had been stolen.”
Officers have carried out a number of enquiries including speaking to witnesses and viewing CCTV in order to identify the man responsible.
Pc Dunne added: “Officers work tirelessly to crack down on cycle theft, which cause victims great distress, often leaving them stranded at the station and having to find other means to get home.
“If you recognise the man pictured, please come forward and help officers in this investigation.”
Anyone with information which could assist the investigation is asked to call BTP on 0800 40 50 40.
