CCTV images of two women police would like to speak to following an assault have been released.
The incident occurred between 3am and 3.40am on Saturday, August 16 in Hitchin.
The victim, a 32-year-old woman, was in a fight with two women in the female toilets of the Ivory Bar in Brand Street.
After this the women were removed from the bar and they all went their separate ways.
A little while later the victim was sitting on a bench outside WH Smith in Bancroft when the same two women from the bar pulled up in a red Lexus, with two men.
The women got out of the vehicle and assaulted the victim who received a cut and bump to her head.
The women then left in the Lexus.
PC Dave Hine is investigating and said: “We would like to speak with the two women pictured as they may have information that can assist our investigation. If you believe you recognise these women please contact me straight away.”
Anyone with any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact PC Hine via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference G1/14/2133. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
