A CCTV image has been released today (Tuesday) following a theft in a bookmakers.
Police would like to speak to the man pictured after a mobile phone was stolen at Coral on Redhill Road in Hitchin on April 19.
The incident took place at around 5.20pm when a member of the public left his mobile phone on a counter in the shop. While he was distracted the phone was stolen.
Investigating officer Pc Puneet Netar said: “I am appealing to anyone who may recgonise the man pictured in the CCTV image to get in touch as he may have witnessed the incident and could help me with my enquiries.”
