CCTV appeal after purse stolen from handbag in Stevenage

Police have today released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a purse theft in Stevenage.

Two men and a woman approached a woman near the entrance to the underpass in St George’s Way, next to Farmfoods, between 11am and 11.40am on Wednesday, January 13, and asked for directions.

After they had gone the victim realised that her purse was missing from her handbag.

PCSO Jenna Hutchinson wishes to speak to the man pictured as he may have information which could assist with the investigation.
