A HOSPITAL charity has benefited from a cash injection of �5,100.
The Echo Trust - a registered charity created by late night venue operator Luminar Leisure Ltd - has donated the money to enhance herts, a charity which supports Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
Echo raises money throughout the year before apportioning it to different charities nominated by members of staff.
enhance herts was nominated by Rob Swain, general manager of Liquid and Envy nightclub on Stevenage Leisure Park.
The money donated to enhance herts will be used to purchase warming mattresses, apnoea alarms and medical equipment.
Rob said: "It's great to see a local charity doing fantastic work for children-related projects, especially since you can see exactly where your money is going and how much of a difference it makes."
enhance herts fundraiser Suzanne Roynon said: "Receiving local donations is so incredibly valuable to the charity that we really can't thank Rob and the team enough for their support.
