Police are searching for vandals who damaged three cars on a Letchworth housing estate.

The acts of vandalism took place last week between Monday night and the early hours of Tuesday morning on the Jackmans Estate.

Vandals are believed to have damaged a rear panel on the driver’s side of a black Peugeot 208 in Quills and a door of a black Ford Focus in Oakhill by kicking them.

A driver’s side wing mirror of a Hyundai Getz was also damaged while the car was parked in Oakhill.

PCSO Martin Barringer said: “These senseless acts of vandalism have led to expensive repair bills for the owners of the vehicles. I am keen to trace the person responsible as soon as possible. I would ask anyone with information about the incidents to contact me.”
