A community hub is opening up in Letchworth to provide information and advice on all aspects of care.
The Care Community Hub is coming to 19/29 Station Road – a vacant building which was home to the now relocated Concept Windows and Conservatories – in March.
Goldsborough – which provides care across Hertfordshire – is opening the hub in the heart of Letchworth to offer information and advice to care workers, care service users and their families in all aspects of home care.
The centre is also available to anyone who needs advice on care options or pointing in the right direction of care organisations in the area.
The opening of the care hub will see yet another change to the landscape of Station Road, a street which the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation hope to regenerate over the coming years.

Allied Healthcare regional director Matt Jackson said: “Goldsborough has spent a number of years building cutting-edge partnering solutions for care delivery.
“Building on our successes, we have developed a new, innovative approach to bring information about the various areas of care all together in one place.
“The Letchworth hub is an excellent facility where we can provide all the information you need to help families get the best information for their loved ones.
“Our meeting area also provides space which can be used for training sessions, information sessions or simply a place for people to meet and connect with others in similar circumstances.
“We expect our hub to be greatly used and look forward to meeting and working with the local community.”
Iain MacBeath, who is director of the health and community services for Hertfordshire, will be on ribbon cutting duty when the hub opens on Thursday, March 10.
Doors open at 10am and there will be a number of Goldsborough staff on hand to explain the service and how it will benefit those living in Letchworth and the surrounding areas.
