FIREFIGHTERS were called to a car ablaze in a street in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday), after a possible arson attack.
One fire engine from Stevenage attended High Elms Lane in Benington at about 12.20am, where a car was well alight on the roadside.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used one jet to tackle the blaze, which was fully extinguished just before 2am.
No one was involved and the cause of the fire is doubtful.
