First round draw takes place on June 16
Stevenage are one of 36 unseeded sides in the Capital One Cup first round draw which takes place next week.
The likes of QPR, Peterborough United, Swindon Town and Cardiff City are among the seeded teams in the draw, which takes place at 10am on Tuesday, June 16.
Boro were knocked out of the competition in the first round last season by Watford.
