Cannabis seized and man, 18, arrested in police raid on house in Stevenage

A quantity of cannabis was seized in a raid on a house in Stevenage on Friday.

An 18-year-old man was also arrested when police forced their way into the address in Shephall View.

He was given a caution for possession of the drug and released.

Stevenage Safer Neighbourhood Team Sgt Alison Hutchin said: “This operation was led by the Safer Neighbourhood Team responsible for tackling on-going concerns in the Bedwell area. We are committed to addressing issues of drug dealing and will continue to gather intelligence in order to target individuals involved.”
