Police have issued an early morning appeal for help in locating a missing 54-year-old woman from Stevenage.
Karen Smith, who was last seen at her Wetherby Close home at 7pm on Friday evening, is believed to be driving a light blue Kia Picanto car with a 2012 number plate.
She is 5ft 4ins tall, of slim build, with dark and highlighted, shoulder-length hair.
She was last seen wearing a grey and white vertical striped top, navy blue trousers, a red coat and black shoes.
Police say that she could be anywhere in Hertfordshire, but is thought to be in the areas bordering Buckinghamshire, and stress that there are concerns for her welfare.
Anyone who sees Karen or knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact police via the non-emergency number 101 as soon as possible.
