Winger has been on loan at U’s for three months but returns to Stevenage this week
Cambridge United are unlikely to follow up any interest they have in Peter Winn when the winger returns to Stevenage later this week following a loan spell with the U’s.
Winn has started 10 games and appeared twice from the bench during his spell at the Abbey Stadium, scoring once, but the winger’s short-term loan deal runs out this week - 93 days is the maximum a player can be loaned out on a short-term deal - and United are unlikely to offer the former Scunthorpe United man a permanent deal when the transfer window re-opens in January.
