A CALL for town centre redevelopment plans to be made available to the public now to prevent rumour and misinformation has been rejected.
North Herts District Council Conservatives used their majority last night (Thursday) to block the call by the Labour group and backed by the Liberal Democrats to release proposed plans for the Churchgate area ahead of an exhibition at St Mary's Church.
Despite all councillors having seen and approved the plans by a vast majority in February, the Tory cabinet refuse to let the public see the plans until May 19.
