The team behind the annual Rhythms Of The World festival are calling for helpers to make next year's event the best yet.

Run entirely by volunteers, the world music festival will be held at Hitchin Priory on July 24 and 25, and organisers need help with all aspects of the event from raising money to building the site.

"We'll be delighted to meet anyone who would like to get involved, however much help they can offer," festival volunteer coordinator Alison Watt said. "We are particularly keen to meet people who can help liaise with the community as a whole."

Anyone interested is invited to an open day at Hitchin Football Club at 8pm on Monday. Alternatively call Alison on 07834 363626 or Jo Winstanley on 07879 487445, or email volunteers@rotw.org.uk
