An award-winning businesswoman from Walkern is to share tips at a networking breakfast next Thursday morning.
Helen Thomson, 51 – also known as Helen Meissner from the Folkstock music label – will share her personal insights into the importance of training and why she thinks many companies fail to see a decent return on training investment.
Helen launched her training business Thomson Training in 1989, aged 22, and after grossing nearly £100,000 in 18 months was named Herts Businesswoman of the Year.
She has recently returned to the commercial sector, working alongside Stevenage business support enterprise Wenta.
The coaching service she offers draws upon three decades of success in various areas of business.
The business breakfast starts at 7am next Thursday at the Needham House Hotel in Little Wymondley. Tickets are £20 each from biz4biz.org.
