Domino's Pizza Group Ltd has tasked The Storage Equipment Centre Ltd of Arlington
Business Park, Stevenage, to complete the fit out of the storage facility at its new
commissary in West Ashlands, Milton Keynes. The work includes the design, supply
and installation of various racking applications in the ambient, chilled and freezer
stores.
Gary Kirk, Sales Manager for The Storage Equipment Centre Ltd said "Domino's Pizza
originally approached us in 2007. Since then we have worked alongside them to help
create a solution which will enable their warehouse operations to run effectively and
efficiently, achieved with a mixture of narrow aisle and dynamic push back racking."
The project is part of the 20million site due to be completed by 2010 which will help
support the 500 Domino's Pizza stores nationwide.
Since 2007, SEC Ltd has completed another warehouse installation for Domino's at
their Penrith site. Designed to meet Domino's exact requirements, the solution
included new racking whilst utilizing existing materials as it was the most cost effective
solution.
