GORDON Johnston has taken over as chairman of North Hertfordshire Home's board, taking the helm after two years as vice chairman.
Mr Johnston has a long track record in housing at director level and was deputy chief executive at Bedford Council until his recent retirement.
He believes strongly that the way forward is to listen to what our tenants have to say. "Communication and honesty is so important in maintaining and strengthening the connection between NHH and our tenants. We have a very good track record which gives us a solid platform to build on," said Mr Johnston. In addition Peter Lipman, David Pickering, and Philip Day have been appointed as three new independent board members.
