Salt & Good – which prides itself on offering street food from around the world in a bar and restaurant setting – opened its doors with a celebratory evening at its Plaza home, before members of the public were welcomed for the first time on Saturday.

“We’ve just celebrated out launch weekend and can’t wait to welcome more residents from near and far into the restaurant to experience authentic dishes from around the world,” said co-founder Danny Punia.

“This is our very first Salt & Good restaurant and we’re glad we chose Stevenage as our launch location. So far feedback has been incredibly positive and we’re excited for a busy bank holiday weekend.”

The restaurant, based next to Affinity nightclub and Fit4Less gym, is currently offering a special deal until the end of this month where one child can eat for free for every accompanying adult.
