A prominent international entrepreneur is to outline her business story when she speaks in Hitchin later this month.
Blippar co-founder Jess Butcher, from Great Wymondley – who was awarded an MBE in the New Year’s Honour’s list – will be at Los Reyes in Bucklersbury on January 25 to speak at the Growth Club business event.
Jess, 40, has built several successful businesses from scratch over the last 20 years. Her company Blippar – which has offices in London, the US, India and Singapore – has grown into a leading global technology firm in just six years.
She was named as one of the 50 most inspiring women in European tech in 2016, and one of the 10 most powerful female entrepreneurs in 2012.
Growth Club is run by Base52, whose managing director Fred McBreen said: “We’re delighted to welcome Jess to speak at our first Growth Club meeting of 2018.”
