A pop-up shop for bespoke goods is set to stay open beyond Christmas after getting a great reception from the community.
Tony Miceli from TrueGents barbers opened Made It Hitchin in Bucklersbury last month as a temporary venture – renting out shelf space to create a one-stop treasure trove of quality craft items and more.
He says the response has been amazing, and that the shop will stay open for good.
Tony told the Comet: “I’ve worked all over the UK, but after a few weeks in the shop I fully understand the appeal Hitchin has. Made It Hitchin aims to support the local quality craftsman and help keep Hitchin’s unique identity.”
The latest talent to take up a space in the shop is fashion designer Luke Archer.
Made It Hitchin also stocks hair products, aftershave and grooming kit from Italian brand Luxina, for which Tony has secured UK rights.
