Centre-half becomes fourth former Boro player to join Brewers
Burton Albion have signed Darius Charles.
The defender, who spent five years at Stevenage, has signed a one-year deal with the Brewers.
He made more than 140 appearances for Boro playing at centre-half, left-back and up front, but has now decided to step back up to League One with last year’s League Two champions Albion.
He joins other former Boro players John Mousinho, Phil Edwards and Lucas Akins at the Pirelli Stadium.
