However, Robins may have to sell first before a bid can be lodged
BRISTOL City are interested in signing Stevenage midfielder James Dunne.
According to the Bristol Post, Robins head coach Sean O’Driscoll is an admirer of Boro’s Player of the Year after the 23-year-old’s superb first season at the Lamex Stadium.
However, the club, relegated from the Championship last season, may have to sell before they can make a bid for the midfielder.
AFC Bournemouth are also said to be interested in Dunne, while last season the box-to-box midfielder was also watched by Scottish Premier League champions Celtic.
Earlier this summer, Stevenage manager Graham Westley said that Dunne, as well as winger Lucas Akins, was in demand, and that ‘provided the bid is right, we will not stand in their way’.
