People who are determined to help stop human trafficking are being asked to bring their best dance moves to The Icknield Centre in Letchworth for a fundraiser with a difference.
The toe-tapping event – which is being organised by Letchworth Garden City Church – is being held between 2pm and 5pm today to raise money for the 27 million slaves around the world today, many of who are forced into labour, domestic servitude or sexual slavery.
The evening’s entertainment is being sponsored by the Letchworth Abolition Group, which is supporting Hope for Justice’s fight against human trafficking. As well as plenty of Zumba-style dancing, there are raffle prizes to be won and there will be cakes and refreshments on sale.
Tickets are priced at £10, but you must be 14 or older. To book ring 01462 480126 or email info@mylgcc.com. To find out more visit www.mylgcc.com.
