THE body of missing Hitchin teacher Leda Bolden has been found, it has been confirmed this afternoon.
Officers investigating the disappearance of Ms Bolden have said the body found in the River Great Ouse is that of the 39-year-old.
The mother-of-one, who was an assistant headteacher at Our Lady in Hitchin, went missing from her home in Bedford on Easter Sunday.
Her body was discovered about 4pm, not far from the Priory Marina, yesterday (Tuesday). Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
A post mortem has been conducted, but a cause of death is yet to be determined.
