A 15-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed in the neck in Letchworth this afternoon, with police cordoning off parts of a street as an air ambulance landed.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene in Jackmans Place after being called at 2.30pm, with officers cordoning off part of the street off Baldock Road – next to the recreation ground.
Police told the Comet the boy had “sustained an injury to his neck”, but was conscious and breathing and had been rushed to hospital.
Officers are now looking for the attacker, who is described as a white male, of a small build and with brown hair.
