The bowls club had good results in the East Beds League last week. In the men's section the 'A' team beat Sandy Cons to ensure they stay in the first division. The 'B' team had a narrow win at home to Biggleswade which sees them staying in division three. The 'C' team won their game at Stotfold on Monday, but went down on Tuesday at division six league winners Holwell. Their fate now depends on other results. Both ladies teams had a week off in the league. On Saturday the men lost 84-76 at Stevenage Town. The ladies went down to a home defeat against Langford. Sunday saw a very exciting mixed game against Ampthill, with Shefford winning by 72-71.
