In the men s East Beds League, Shefford A had a good win at leaders Sandy Conservative Club, the B team won at Biggleswade Town but the C team lost to leaders Holwell. The Ladies League results saw the A team lose at Ampthill and the B team win at Flitwic

In the men's East Beds League, Shefford A had a good win at leaders Sandy Conservative Club, the B team won at Biggleswade Town but the C team lost to leaders Holwell. The Ladies League results saw the A team lose at Ampthill and the B team win at Flitwick. The club lost a mixed game against Russell Park 83 shots to 69 although they had a winning rink of David Dodd, Moreen Stevens, Margaret Bucknell and Vic King. In the top club competition played at Shefford on Saturday, Sandy Conservative Club beat Ashcroft 3-1 and both clubs said how well the green had bowled. Next Sunday sees the clubs first domestic competition taking place when the Richard Porch Trophy takes place starting at 2.30pm
