Boro boss Graham Westley hopes an agreement can still be reached with Torquay United to extend Michael Brough's loan at The Lamex Stadium.

Brough missed out on Boro's FA Cup fourth qualifying win at Chelmsford at the weekend after new terms could not be agreed but the 28-year-old told The Comet last week that he wants to stay with Stevenage to get regular first team football.

"We weren't able to agree an extension to the loan so at the moment he is not with us," Westley told The Comet on Saturday.

"The clubs are still talking. I think there is potential that we could yet agree an extension but nothing has been agreed at the moment.
