Mustapha Carayol signs for Bristol Rovers
Stevenage have missed out in the race to sign Mustapha Carayol.
Boro were believed to be the second side which bid for the now former Lincoln City winger last week, but the 22-year-old chose to sign a deal with Bristol Rovers instead where he will team up again with Paul Buckle, the man who managed him at former club Torquay United.
Cameroonian striker Guy Madjo remains Boro’s only signing so far this summer.
