Pitch in good condition underneath covers
STEVENAGE hope the Boxing Day fixture against Oxford United will go ahead despite the current cold snap.
The pitch is currently underneath covers and is in good condition, and the club hopes to clear the paths, stands and walkways in and around the stadium in time for the match.
Boro have seen two games postponed during December because of the weather (Port Vale and Bury, both away) and have also had to rearrange their January 8 game against Rotherham United because of the Newcastle United FA Cup Third Round match.
