BORO chairman Phil Wallace is set to meet Peterborough United director of football Barry Fry this week to discuss Boro's potential share from George Boyd's transfer to Coca-Cola Championship high-fliers Nottingham Forest.

Boyd joined Forest last week and made his debut in Forest's 1-0 win over Swansea City. The 3m rated Scotland B international had been linked with a move to Middlesbrough before Forest came in to secure Boyd's signature.

When Boro sold the midfielder to Peterborough in January 2007, they agreed a significant sell-on clause believed to be 40 per cent.

Wallace told the Non League Paper: "I don't know where things stand. I only returned from America on Thursday. Barry had the courtesy to ring and tell me when George was going to Forest, and I'll meet him this week.
