Not many clubs will be interested in my players’ performances after Saturday’s defeat - Westley
Graham Westley said that not many sides would be interested in the performances of any of his players on Saturday amid speculation linking Lawrie Wilson with Leeds United.
Reports in the national press last week suggested that Leeds boss Simon Grayson had watched Wilson play twice for Boro in recent weeks, but Westley seemed unaware of the reports, adding: “I should think that the important thing for any player is to go and put in performances game in game out that keeps any interest that is bubbling alive.
“I don’t think there will be too many clubs interested in too many performances that our players put in this afternoon.”
