A gruelling three-hour commando challenge took place in the freezing early hours on Saturday to raise cash for anti-bullying charities.
The Stevenage Real Bootcamp event saw competitors carrying and throwing tyres, ‘monkey’ walking, commando crawling and taking part in a tug o’ war while being water and flour bombed from 7am in Chells Park in Stevenage.
Fitness instructors Hayley Long and Tracey Beatty who run daily exercise classes in the park said they hope the charity challenge will become an annual event.
