The body of a man found in the lake at Fairlands Valley Park yesterday is a 75-year-old from Stevenage police have confirmed.
Police were called to the lake at 9.30am yesterday morning and the body was recovered from the water.
They put up covering tents at the scene and cordoned off the area.
Investigations into the cause of the man’s death are ongoing but it is not thought to be suspicious.
Next of kin have been informed and an inquest will take place at Herforshire coroner’s court.
