TWO men have been remanded in custody charged with perverting the course of justice concerning the discovery of a headless corpse in the Blue Lagoon.

The decapitated body of Michael Gilbert, 26, was found in the lagoon at Arlesey on Sunday, May 10.

Richard Watt, 24, and his brother Robert, 19, of Chertsey Close, Luton, appeared at Luton Magistrates' Court this morning charged with perverting the course of justice between January 22 and May 13 this year.

They will appear at Luton Crown Court on June 2.

Two women arrested by police last week during the murder inquiry have been released on bail and another man, aged 22, who was arrested at an address in Luton, has been released without charge.
