Two Stevenage women have launched their 10th campaign to collect sanitary products to give to women who are vulnerable.

Friends Sanya Masood and Sophie Harrold set up a project called A Bloody Good Cause in 2015 and have since collected thousands of tampons and sanitary towels to give to homeless shelters, women’s refuges and groups which support refugees.

Their latest campaign is supporting Sufra – a food bank and kitchen in London.

As well as sanitary towels and tampons, Sanya and Sophie are also collecting nappies until mid-December.

Sanya said: “While Christmas is a very happy time for most of us, for the less fortunate it can be very difficult indeed.

“It is a time for giving, so we hope you’ll embrace the festive season and donate.”
