FIRE crews battled a blaze near the A507 yesterday (Tuesday) evening after 100 sq m of vegetation caught alight.
Trees, hedges and undergrowth were all burning when firefighters arrived, after being called at 7.06pm, to the blaze between Stotfold and Shefford.
It was extinguished after crews from Shefford used beaters and a hose.
