BISHOP Christopher Herbert visited a school this week and gave the children a taster of his life as Bishop of St Albans.
Camps Hill School in Chells Way, Stevenage invited the bishop to meet the children and caused quite a stir.
Mrs Hilary Cliff, head, said: "He came and talked to the children and had a look around the school.
"He gave a really wonderful assembly and all the children sang and got the chance to ask him questions.
"He wore his full cassock and it was very special because it's not often that you get to meet a bishop and a lot of the children had never seen one before.
