BRANDON Smith who turns 11 today (Friday) has a rather unusual birthday this year, for as many will have realised, the date - November 11 - is the 11/11/11.
The St Thomas Moore pupil will be marking the milestone with his family.
“We only realised a few years ago,” said Brandon’s stepfather Richard Watt.
“We were just looking through a year planner, and we saw it. We just thought ‘oh, it’s quite unusual’.
“He didn’t weigh 11lbs, or wasn’t born at 11 or anything like that, though!”
Brandon, who lives in Hadrian Way, Baldock, is being treated to a day out with his grandparents at the weekend.
The youngster, who said he was looking forward to seeing himself in The Comet, added: “I think it’s going to be a special birthday, and I’m going to enjoy it. I’m going out with my nanny and my gran. It will be great.”
