A fortune teller's prediction that her client would win a great deal of money has come true.
The memory of the day she spent £25 on having her fortune told in Letchworth GC came flooding back when a Sandy woman scooped more than £200,000 at bingo.
Leslie Wilkinson, 52, pocketed the big cheque with a full house at Flutters Club in Station Road, Biggleswade, on Sunday last week.
"I went to a fortune teller in Letchworth GC a few years ago and had my fortune told. It cost me £25. She said within two or three years I would win a large amount of money, not millions," said Leslie.

"Everything she said would happen to me has. When I won the money I suddenly remembered the day when I had my fortune told. Now my life has changed forever."
Leslie, who was brought up in Stevenage and went to Bedwell School, was the first player in the country that night to complete a full house in 41 numbers, the lowest call in 500 clubs playing nationwide, to pick up the National Bingo Game top prize of £200,000 as well as the regional prize of £1,367 and the club's jackpot of £100.

Leslie, manager at a sheltered home in Sandy, will be sharing her good fortune with a 67-year-old friend who first took her to Flutters last July and was with her on her lucky night.
"We have always shared our winnings and the money will be split down the middle with my friend," said Leslie, who has three sons and four grandchildren.
"I had to phone her daughter to come and take her home because she was in such a state.
"We were both in shock. I thought she was going to have a heart attack."
Leslie said for a few days afterwards she couldn't sleep or even believe she had won so much money.
"There were a few sleepless nights. But I will be sensible with the money, which I haven't got yet, and help my children and buy some property in the Sandy area," added Leslie.
"I have already booked my holidays for the year in Spain and New York so at least I won't have to worry about spending money or being comfortable in my retirement. But for the time being I will continue working."
Flutters manager Martin Redmond said: "Both ladies were in tears. Leslie did carry on playing, with a little help from me, but was shaking like a leaf.
"The atmosphere in the club was superb, really exciting.
"Everyone was clapping and cheering and we will be having a party night for her when she will be presented with the cheque.
