TWO children's charities will receive a welcome cash injection after a charity bike show raised more than £750.

The White Lion in High Street, Baldock, played host to around 300 people at the annual custom and classic bike show.

The event included live music and a barbecue.

A total of £756 was raised and will be split between Keech Cottage Children's Hospice and East Anglia's Children's Hospices, based in Milton, Cambridge.

Landlord Steve Malyon said: "It was great to see some new faces as well as the usual ones.

"Hopefully next year it will be bigger and better and raise more funds for these well deserving charities.
