The headteacher of a Biggleswade school put himself in the thick of the action when a stuntman came to visit.
Staff and students at Lawnside Lower School were paid a visit by Danny Butler, from the MTB Stunt Show, who led an assembly to promote cycling.
As well as pleasing the crowd with his skills on the bike – which included jumping on and off the roof of his van – there was also an emphasis on safety, with children being encouraged to wear helmets when cycling.
Headteacher Darren Smith said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed the demonstration but were also able to take away positive messages about cycling themselves and staying safe while having fun.
“The stuntman also demonstrated his skills around a volunteer – me!”
