Biggleswade and Shefford firefighters and paramedics helped extricate a motorist who was trapped by her injuries after a crash involving three cars in Henlow last night.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to Henlow’s High Street after the crash at about 8pm, with the street closed where it meets Clifton Road.
A woman was left trapped by her injuries in one of the cars, with firefighters from Biggleswade and Shefford community fire stations working together with medics to help her get out.
Police told the Comet that two people were treated for minor injuries. An ambulance service spokesman said that a patient was taken to Bedford Hospital with neck and back pain.
